Hello! We want to purchase Disney Dollars. I have a few questions: What happens if we don't use all our Disney Dollars, can we trade them in for US dollars? Also, if I order Disney Dollars via mail, can I request how many of each bill I want? If so, how?

    Hello Ruben,

Great to hEAR from you again! I hope you were able to make your Goofy’s Kitchen dining reservation.

Using Disney Dollars at the parks is a ‘practically prefect’ idea - they are handled like cash. Disney Dollars are the official currency of the Disneyland Resort. They are available for purchase in 3 denominations — $1, $5 and $10 — each with unique Disney Character portraits.

You can definitely plan ahead and order specific amounts of each denomination - just be sure to include this in your request. I suggest calling 407-566-4985 to discuss your order. There is a $15 shipping charge that will be applied with your order. You can mail your payment and the address where you would like your order sent to you below:

    P.O. Box 10140
    Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

If you want to wait until you arrive at the parks, you can visit Guest Relations to purchase Disney Dollars as well. They are non-refundable so you may want to buy less and see how your spending goes during your trip. You can always purchase more if needed at Guest Relations. The other benefit to Disney Dollars is that they are often kept as a souvenir.

I hope this helps you. Please feel free to visit me again with any other planning questions you may have!

    Wishing you a ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ time!
