If we purchase the dining plan I noticed it is for ages 3 and up- do I have to buy separate meals for my 2 year old or share my meals with him?

    Hi Kristina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Traveling to Walt Disney World Resort with small children is so much fun, they experience so much magic and it is amazing to see the joy on their little faces!

When purchasing the Disney Dining Plan, children under the age of three are not included.  In other words, you do not need to purchase a Dining Plan (or theme park tickets) for them.  When dining, your have several options.  At Buffet and Family Style restaurants, your son will be able to get his own plate without any additional cost.  At a la carte restaurants, he is however expected to share your plate.  Quite often this option works, as portion sizes are quite generous.  From my experience, there were however a few times where this option was not going to work.  When that was the case, I simply ordered a children's meal for my daughter and the cost was added to the check at the end of the meal.  Guests will be responsible for paying the additional costs at the end of the meal.  Children's meals are very reasonably priced, and it would make both my daughter and I happy with our meals.

I hope that answers your question Kristina.  Please let me know if you have any other questions while planning your vacation.  I would be more than happy to help!
