If I purchase an 8 Day Ticket but am only able to use 5 days, what happens to the remaining 3 days that go unused?

    Hi Troy,

Thank you for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Ready to Fall into Magic at Walt Disney World Resort?

When you purchase Theme Park Tickets, you have the option to select the day of your first visit. And depending on how many days you select for visits, it will dictate when the Tickets expire. For example, an 8-day base Theme Park Ticket will expire 12 days after your selected start date. The Park Hopper Plus Option adds an extra day to the expiration. And Tickets part of a Vacation Package expire at Check-Out or the standard expiration, whichever is longer. Be sure to visit the Tickets - Frequently Asked Questions page for more information.

My suggestion is to select the days you would think you would need, however, it is very easy to add days at the Resort, as long as you do this before you use your last admission. Just visit Guest Relations at the entrance of any of the Theme Parks or Disney Springs.

One last tip: don't forget that you can make FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance. Unless you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, which, among its many perks, lets you make selections up to 60 days before your Check-In. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
