I would like to purchase an annual pass. If I was to purchase the pass today but not redeem my voucher until October, would by pass expire one year from the date I redeem my voucher or would it expire from the date I purchased it? (Today)

    Hi Shaun,

You are going to LOVE being an Annual Passholder! Not only will you be able to visit the most magical place on earth as frequently as you'd like, but there are many fantastic perks and benefits to this program as well.

I'm happy to let you know that your magical year will begin when you activate your Annual Pass, not when you purchase it. You'll receive a voucher when you purchase, and you'll simply want to take that to a ticket window when you arrive at a theme park or to Guest Relations at Disney Springs. Make sure to bring a valid photo I.D. with you as well. The Cast Member will activate your pass for you and give you a physical Annual Passholder card which will serve as your theme park tickets as well as your proof of membership for all of your discounts and perks.

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shaun, and enjoy an entire year full of magical moments at the Walt Disney World Resort!
