If I purchase admission tickets from a third party can I link them to my Disney account for fast passes?

Hello there, Margaret! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by again and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I am very pleased to let you know that you can most definitively link tickets from outside vendors to your My Disney Experience account! This can be done either through the web page on your computer or through the mobile app on your phone. You can do this by clicking over to the "My Tickets" tab in your My Disney Experience account. Once there, click into the "Link Tickets and Passes" tab. You will then be able to either scan your admission passes or enter your ticket number in order to link your passes. The ticket number and bar-code should be available on your admission pass purchase confirmation.

Once your admission passes are linked, you will then be able to reserve your FastPass+ experiences either 30 days prior to your arrival if you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel or 60 days prior to your arrival if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel.

FastPass+ reservations are an excellent way to maximize your time in the parks! My personal favorite strategy is to book early morning FastPass+ reservations and arrive to the parks as soon as they open. This allows me to experience at least one or two attractions as soon as I arrive and then utilize my FastPass+ reservation to get in a few early morning thrills!

I hope this information will help you when continuing to plan for your upcoming trip! Be sure to let us know if we can help you with any other parts of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
