    Marci from FL Asked

Is proof of Florida Residency needed when purchasing a child ticket?

    Hi Marci,

Aren't the benefits of being a Florida resident great? When you take advantage of the special offers for Walt Disney World tickets and annual passes for Florida residents, only the adult members of your party need to show proof of Florida residency. I've been an annual passholder for almost 20 years, and my daughters were never asked for ID until they were at least 16.

There are some excellent specials right now for residents, including the Discover Disney ticket which offers highly discounted admission to the theme parks for three or four days. And obviously I'm a big fan of the Florida Resident annual passes.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marci. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your vacation or if you'd like recommendations on resorts, dining, rides and attractions. We're happy to help.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
