We are in the process of planning a cruise for Dec 2012. 1. Are birthdays recognized like they are in the restaurants at WDW? 2. Where can I find a listing that shows the different levels of cabins and their qualities? I am confused by the listings. Thanks

    Hi, Melissa!

Congratulations on considering a Disney Cruise Line vacation next year for your family -- my family and I consider our Disney cruises to be of our most treasured family memories!

Family celebrations and milestones are always considered important on Disney vacations, and Disney ships are no exceptions.  You'll want to note the special occasion on your reservation, and tell your head server at dinner on the night you would like to celebrate.  Our 14-year-old daughter pretended to be embarrassed the last time we were on board as the servers sang "Happy Birthday" to her and brought out her cake.  In addition, you can visit the Gifts & Amenities Page under the DisneyCruise.com Planning Center to have something waiting in your stateroom for the birthday boy/girl!

For Stateroom Categories, simply click on either Disney Dream/Fantasy or Disney Magic/Wonder to view the various amenities and location choices for staterooms for each ship. Categories designate the different types of rooms or can indicate different deck locations within these types. The Compare Staterooms Page offers convenient side-by-side comparisons to help you see the differences and decide on the room that's best for you. I hope this helps you plan. Let me know if I can answer more questions for you.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
