We are in the process of planning an Alaska cruise on the Wonder, in September. Our daughter is in her teens. Could you give advice on the experience of a navigator's veranda vs a standard veranda? We are leaning toward the navigator's veranda.

    Hi Kathleen,

Congratulations on your upcoming Alaskan cruise aboard the Disney Wonder.  I know it's just going to be amazing, and you must be counting down the days to your adventure.

The Disney Wonder has the nautical verandah.  This means that there is a large, open air porthole above the railing.  Here is a link that will explain the different types of verandahs on Disney cruise ships.  I hope this helps!

Please let me know if you have any other questions.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
