What is the procedure for kids during road transportation between the ship and the excursions? Are car seats required? Available for rent? Thanks! (We're heading on 7 night from Galveston).

    Hi Nikki!
A big beautiful piece of Disney will be arriving in your home state of Texas in just a few weeks, and you are one of the lucky ones that will be sailing into the sunset on the Disney Magic very soon!  How exciting!
When you travel to the various ports of call, car seats will not be needed when you head ashore.  Since the islands do not have the same safety requirements as the United States, car seats can't be supported in the vehicles provided by the tour operators.  Children will have to sit on their own or on the laps of family members when being transported to the island destination.  Disney Cruise Line takes safety very seriously and only uses tour operators that have the safety of the Guests as their number one concern so be assured that you will be in good hands when venturing off the ship.
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel, Nikki!  Please let me know if you think of anything else before you are ready to set sail for a magical voyage!
    Have a wonderful day!
