For a princess character meal should my 4 year old wear a very nice princess dress or do we need to get a Disney Princess Costume?

    Hi Elizabeth,

There are no right or wrong dresses or costumes for your daughter to wear for a character meal of any kind, but a lot of little girls seem to show up in princess costumes for this special dining experience.  I have always wondered how those girls must feel when it's very hot outside though and they are dressed to the hilts while wandering around the parks all day in that costume and uncomfortable shoes.  It is completely up to you to decide, just know there is no right or wrong decision here.  Personally, I would opt for my daughter to wear something that will be comfortable yet still a princessy looking dress (and comfortable shoes) without it having to be a costume, but that is just what I would do.  I wish you all a fantastic trip and character dining experience.

    Best wishes,
