When does pricing for the following year come out? Looking to book a trip for Oct 2017. If we book early, would we be eligible for any discounts like free dining/room discounts that may be announced at a later time?

    Hello Casey,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! October is a fantastic month to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! The Theme Parks are decked out in their Fall finest, and two of my favorite seasonal activities take place during the month; Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom Park and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. You're going to have a wonderful time!

You may book a room-only Resort Hotel Reservation 499 days prior to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort require a deposit of one night's stay plus taxes so, the deposit amount will vary depending on the Resort Hotel that you choose for your visit.

At this time, 2017 Walt Disney World Resort rates/offers have not yet been announced. In previous years, rates for the following year have been announced anywhere from late June to early August. I would keep checking the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for updates and information about when 2017 package rates and special offers will be available for booking. I recommend booking your Walt Disney World Resort vacation through an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Should you book your Resort vacation and special offers are announced after you have booked, a Planner can assist you in re-booking so that you can take advantage of any discounts or special offers.

I hope this information helps. Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
