    Jordan from NC Asked

Will the price of tickets be the same at the door versus online, in advance of our trip?

    Hi Jordan,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  On any given day, the prices of park tickets at the gate and online through the Walt Disney World website are exactly the same.  I can get confusing, though, especially when the tax amount might not be clearly listed with the ticket price or you need express delivery of your tickets (there's no charge for Will Call or standard delivery).  Generally, I do like getting my tickets online in advance for a variety reasons, and I always recommend buying directly from Disney or from a reputable company.  One advantage to getting your tickets online in advance is that you're ready to "hit the parks running" when you arrive.  Another is that you can start making your FastPass+ selections before you arrive if you link your ticket information through My Disney Experience.  Also, if you purchase your tickets through the website and prices increase between then and your vacation date, you've already locked in the lower price.  Last, but not least, if you buy your tickets online as part of a vacation package, you may be able to save some money on the total cost of your vacation.  There are usually great deals to be found on these packages, which might include things like a room discount, free Memory Maker or free dining.  You can see the current offers on the Special Offers page of the website.  No matter which option you choose, I'm sure you'll have a magical time!  If you have any other questions, please just let us know.
