Is there a way for me to pre-purchase a dining experience/dinner for my mother while she is there next week & have it be a surprise for her mother's day gift?

Hi, Calvin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How sweet of you to think of something special to treat mom during her visit to the Disneyland Resort! As a mother who happens to love food, I think your idea of purchasing a special dinner is an excellent idea.

There are two dining experiences for which you pay in advance that might fit the bill of what you are looking for. If your mother happens to be a wine aficionado, then I suggest booking the Napa Rose Food and Wine Pairing Experience at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. This hour-long event happens on Saturday afternoons and the cost is $95 which includes tax and gratuity.

If mom is more of a dessert gal, you can book the World of Color Dessert Party. This not only provides her an actual seat to view the show, but also includes a delicious assortment of treats and drinks for her enjoyment. The cost for this experience is $79 and also includes tax and gratuity.

Finally, you can always purchase a Disney Gift Card and tell mom to spend it on whatever her heart desires! Disney Gift Cards can be used to purchase theme park tickets, food at nearly all dining locations, and souvenirs.

I hope your mom has a delightful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
