What’s up with the premium magic bands?!?! I’ve been trying to order them and I get an error message. I called to see if I could purchase over the phone and was told “no” and that I should just keep refreshing the page. Help, please!

Hi there, Tonya! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and ask your Walt Disney World Resort question!

MagicBands are the key to all of your magical experiences at Walt Disney World Resort! These handy little wristbands allow you to check-in at FastPass+ entrances, unlock your Disney Resort hotel room, and so much more. This lets Guests pack less when visiting the theme parks and experience greater peace of mind when traveling throughout Walt Disney World Resort!

It was recently announced that Guests would be able to select from an assortment of upgraded MagicBand designs for a discounted price. This option became wildly popular as soon as it was released to the public and continues to increase in popularity with each new Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel! That being said, I experienced a similar problem as yourself when I went to order my own upgraded MagicBamds for my recent trip in July. After a bit of trial and error, I found that my web browser was actually to blame! I have had better luck using web browser besides Chrome to place my MagicBand order since discovering this problem. Hopefully, this issue will be fixed in the very near future but, in the meantime, I would suggest switching to a different web browser to place your upgraded MagicBand order!

I hope this helps you as you make your MagicBand selection for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort!
