Does the premium fireworks cruise sail during the first or second fireworks show? I would like to book the cruise for December 30th and am trying to decide what time to eat dinner.

Hello, Kristin! Walt Disney World Resort Guests celebrated Independence Day this week with patriotic pageantry and booming fireworks at the Parks. It seems fitting that we should talk about ways to make your upcoming New Year's trip a blast!

If you're looking for a unique experience for your New Year's celebration, Walt Disney World has you covered. Reserving a Fireworks Cruise to watch Magic Kingdom's Fantasy in the Sky countdown fireworks is a grand idea! The Parks can get very crowded during the holidays, and this experience will allow you to see the fireworks in a much more private and relaxed setting from the Seven Seas Lagoon.

I spoke with a Cast Member from the Enchanting Extras Collection, and he said that the times for the fireworks on December 30 have not been officially released yet. Last year, the Fireworks Cruises were available for both the early and late shows (6:30 PM and 11:50 PM), so my guess is that they will follow the same pattern this year. Typically, your party will be asked to arrive 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the fireworks' start time, and the captain will take your crew on a relaxing tour of the lagoon and Bay Lake before dropping anchor to watch the show. For an additional cost, Guests can order Private Dining to be delivered to the cruise, which would be a great option for an extra special New Year's dinner. Call (407) 939-7529 for more information.

I hope you have a spectacular time ringing in 2020 with Mickey, Kristin!
