    Hi, Mitchell!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your great question. Your pixie-dusted vacation is just around the corner!

My suggestion is to visit the parks on Sunday and Monday. Crowds will be much lighter on Monday, allowing you to see and do much of your family’s wish list, while Sunday offers longer park hours and entertainment extras like the evening fireworks (weather permitting) and Fantasmic! in Disneyland Park, two must-do items for my family. On Monday night, the spectacular World of Color will be offered in Disney California Adventure Park for you all to enjoy. Visiting on one weekend day and one weekday would give you the best of both worlds in terms of entertainment offerings and the ability to explore the theme parks when they are less busy.

A great first step would be to browse at home so you can create a family wish list of attractions and entertainment. Be sure to utilize Disney’s FASTPASS service when available to optimize your time in the parks! Check out the interactive attractions list online—the list can be sorted by height requirement, thrill level, or interest group.

I hope this helps, Mitchell. Visit me again with more questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventure!

    Wishing you magic,
