On a preferred campsite what size Area is made for a tent

    Hi Timothy!

There are three different types of campsites at the Disney Fort Wilderness Resort. The preferred sites are those located close to the Pioneer Hall and marina end of the resort and are some of the older and original loops built when the resort was started. The campsites are generally a bit shorter then many of the others and offer a variety of configurations.

There isn't a specific area for tents so some guests try to squeeze one on the concrete pad while others try to find a level area off and into the sand or grass. If you are needing to put a tent on your site area please put that into your reservation notes and request. You can do this by calling central reservations to have them add that. 407-W-DISNEY is that number you would call.

I know this doesn't give you the size but each site is different and impossible to tell you unless you know the specific number. They will not give you that until you check in so its important you add your request to your reservation. Enjoy this great resort. It is one of my family's favorite!
