Is it possible to get transportation from the Pop Century resort to the Beach Club for breakfast at 9:00? Also how long would it take? This will be our check out day and I was wondering if this is a possible time frame.

    Hi Maureen,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I have a couple of suggestions for you regarding transportation from Pop Century to the Beach Club.

The best way I've found using the free Disney transportation would be to catch a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios (about a 10-minute ride, not including any time you spend waiting for the bus) and then, from near the entrance of the theme park, either take the water taxi or walk to the Beach Club. Either the boat or the walk should take about 20 minutes.

My family usually chooses to walk. There's a wide sidewalk along the canal that passes the Boardwalk, the Swan and Dolphin on the way to the Beach Club. The boat moves fairly slowly and will stop first at the Swan/Dolphin dock before moving on to the Yacht Club/Beach Club dock.

Your other best option would be faster, but wouldn't be free: a taxi.

Cabs are readily available at the front of each hotel. At Pop Century, check the area near the Magical Express station. If there's not a cab there, the bell staff will be happy to summon one for you.

The ride from Pop to the Beach Club is short, probably 15 minutes or less, so the fare should be relatively inexpensive. We are big fans of the complimentary Disney transportation, and often stay at Pop Century because we like the bus service from there. But occasionally, we splurge for a cab, especially if we're heading from one resort to another for a dining reservation. Seldom is a ride more than $20, including tip.

I hope that's helpful. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you plan your vacation. I'm happy to help.
