    Melissa from CA Asked

Is it possible to have our sons ticket on his grandparents phone if he wants to go with them early or later?

    Greetings, Melissa!

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'd be delighted to help you plan the details of your trip to the Disneyland Resort!

With all of the amazing technological advances in the parks, linking your family members' tickets to each other is easier than ever. You will want to first make sure your son's grandparents download the official Disneyland app to their mobile device. From the app's dashboard screen, select "Tickets and Passes." On the top right corner of the screen you will see a blue "+" circle where you can then select "Link Tickets & Passes." You can then directly scan your son's ticket into their app account. When they enter the gates of either park with your son they can scan his ticket directly from the Disneyland app upon entering. While the Disneyland app is usually free from technical difficulties, I always recommend still bringing your paper tickets in case your mobile device has any glitches.

The Disneyland app is full of convenient features to make your trip packed with magic. You can view attraction wait times, Character locations, and even mobile order and pay for food and beverages. This app with the addition of the Disney MaxPass feature has truly maximized the amount we can see and do each day of our trips. Now we spend more time making memories instead of waiting in lines.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
