Is it possible to request a specific room at the Pop Century Resort

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linda!

My family and I have had the pleasure of staying in one of the reimagined rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort. At this time, all the rooms in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s sections of the resort have been remodeled. However, they are still working on renovations in the 50s area.

The refurbished rooms feature a convenient Queen-Size Table Bed (I love the Pop art Pluto over it!) and a floor Queen Bed. They also have a hutch with an ice bucket, pod type Cuisinart® brand coffee makers, cups and a mini-fridge with a see-thru door. The drawer contains Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Co. brand pods of regular coffee, decaffeinated coffee and other supplies too.

I suggest calling Walt Disney World Resort Reservations at (407) 939-1936, to request one of the newly reimagined rooms for your stay. Do keep in mind that room requests, for any specific area of the hotel, are never guaranteed. However, it doesn't hurt to try!

Did you know? There are several benefits of staying at Disney Resort hotels. One of my family's favorite is the ability to access the Disney theme parks during Extra Magic Hours. This is when one of the parks opens one hour earlier and closes two hours later than the listed park-operating hours. Furthermore, guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can make FastPass+ selections up to 60 days before check-in! Be sure to download My Disney Experience mobile app on your smartphone too.

I hope this was helpful information, Linda. Please visit us again with more Disney vacation planning questions.

Wishing a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
