Is it possible to have a character dining experience, but not actually stay in the park that day? In other words, I'm assuming you'll need to have an entrance ticket for the day of the scheduled character dining experience at Magic Kingdom or elsewhere.

I believe you must have a park ticket, however, there are some other great Character Breakfasts at the Resorts, like the Contemporary, Polynesian (my personal favorite), the Grand Floridian, and more.  No worries, if we are going to say for example to Donald's Breakfast Safari, I would try to get a reservation at 8:15 a.m. , we would finish just as the park opens, and we head to Expedition Everest, and we are past the beginning crowds.  Have fun!!!
