Is it possible for a cast member to let me through the queue of Flight of Passage just to experience it? I get terrible motion sickness and don't want to ride it, but I don't want to wait 2+ hours just to see the line.

    Hi, Lisa!

Pandora - The World of Avatar is amazing. From the floating mountains against the beautiful blue sky by day to the bioluminescent lights at night, Pandora is definitely something to see!

There really is no way to just "let you through" the line of Flight of Passage. The stand-by line is filled with guests. The stand-by line has a lot to look at, and is quite lengthy. The FastPass+ line is shorter, and you see the exterior up close, but once you enter the building, you head straight through corridors to the attraction. Each guest entering the FastPass+ queue must have a valid FastPass+ reserved for that window of time.

So what to do? Well, for an upcoming trip, my mom is traveling with us. While she does not want to ride, she has a FastPass+ booked with us. She is going to wait with us in line, enjoy the pre-show rooms, then when it is time to board the Banshees, she is going to ask the Cast Member to escort her out to the exit. This way she can get a feel for the attraction without the journey!

Another option is to enjoy the Na'vi River Journey. This lovely slow-moving tour of the Rainforest is pleasant. (Similar in speed and ride type to it's a small world.)  Take in the tranquil music and scenery without any worry of motion sickness.

Finally, make a stop at the Satu'li Canteen for a bite to eat. I wasn't sure about this menu, but it has quickly become one of my favorite Quick Service dining locations. Try a cheeseburger pod or a rice bowl. Or try both - because why not!

Enjoy a magical day in Disney's Animal Kingdom, and as the Na'vi say: SIVAKO!
