Is it possible to book a package vacation (room, tickets & meal plan) for one person in your party, then increase the number of guests staying in your room without including them in the package? I want to be on a dining plan, but my friend does not.

    Hi Kirsten!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I want to thank you for stopping by our site to ask a wonderful question about booking a vacation at Walt Disney World.  It's my pleasure to lend a helping hand today.

If you book a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay that includes tickets and one of the Disney Dining Plans, than everyone who stays in the same room will also need to be participating in the same ticket and Dining Plan package.  If your friend does not want the Disney Dining Plan they will need to book a separate Resort room reservation that does not include the Disney Dining Plan.   I know this is not the news you wanted to hear.   I would encourage your friend to browse the linked information about the Disney Dining Plan.  It does often safe money over the cost of buying meals out of pocket.  I have always saved money each time my family has used it.

Kirsten, please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.  It's always  fun to help out a fellow Guest.
