what is port Orleans French quarter like?

Greetings, Robert, welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is an excellent choice. The French Quarter is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and you'll find the accommodations comfortable with all the benefits of being a Disney Resort hotel Guest. The resort is themed after the historic New Orleans district and evokes the carnival spirit of the 'Big Easy and Let the Good Times Roll' with quaint cobblestone walkways, ornate iron railings all enveloped by the fragrant, sweet smell of the magnolia blossoms. This resort offers great convenience with the close proximity of the outer accommodation buildings to the main building called, "Port Orleans Square" and often referred to 'Port Orleans Mint' because it was originally themed after a commercial bank of the 1800's.

Many popular features of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter are:
    - the relaxed atmosphere evoking the spirit of the 'Old South'
    - the Sassagoula River cruise to the exciting new Disney Springs
    - the delicious beignets at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory
    - enjoying the delightful entertainment of "YeHaa Bob Jackson" over at Riverside
