When a Port Adventure's description (other than on Castaway Cay) tells a guest to bring a towel to dry off, is it okay to bring a towel from the ship or should I pack a beach towel for the day?

    Ahoy, Gerriann!

Welcome aboard! It sounds like you are looking forward to a Disney Cruise Line vacation very soon. I'm sure you are already daydreaming of all the fun you'll have both onboard and when you venture ashore. One of the best perks of a vacation on the high seas is waking up to a new destination each day while only having to unpack once!

Port Adventures are a great way to experience the beautiful ports of call you'll visit on your voyage. And the fabulous Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure Team will take care of all the magical details so you can enjoy every minute onshore. If you book a splashtacular excursion, beach towels will be provided by Disney. Most Port Adventures meet on the ship so you'll be able to grab a towel or two when you check-in with a Crew Member before disembarking. When you return to the pier, there will be a spot to drop your used towels. I suggest bringing along a beach bag or backpack to carry your essentials for the day.

Gerriann, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your vacation planning. You are wise to read the Port Adventure descriptions thoroughly, so there are no surprises once you arrive. If you think of any other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
