    Joseph from NY Asked

With popularity of the new Minnie Vans what is the average wait times, also with the upcoming summer season will the supply not meet the demand. Thank You Joe

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Joseph! I’ve used the Minnie Vans so many times in the last year and I’ve loved each and every trip! My kids enjoy the comfy and clean car seats while my husband feels spoiled with the private ride!

When calling a Minnie Van with my LYFT app, (the concierge of your Disney Resort Hotel can help you enable this feature if you don’t already have it) the longest I’ve ever waited to “snag a ride” was about 8 minutes (it arrived less than 10 minutes later). This was in the late afternoon at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The average time for me to hook a Minnie Van in my app has been less than 60 seconds, which is great! Even early in the morning on the way to a breakfast (which is when most folks are calling them) the response time has been very good and wait times for arrival under 10 minutes. The Cast Members have been very slow to roll out the vans to all Resort Hotels on property because the fleet was still (and is) growing to meet demand. Now that they are fully stocked, I don’t think you will have an issue. Before my family leaves our hotel room, I typically open my app to see how long my ride is estimated to take. It gives me a good idea of when to call the ride (just as I would call a regular LYFT at home).

If I can help you choose an activity to be whisked off to in polka dot style, please let me know. You’re going to be pleased with the service, I think! There are a few videos out there on YouTube with first person ride experiences. Try a few to see what you’ll experience. I’ll see ya real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
