We're going to PopCentury, late April 2013, & reserving 2 rooms - 1 for mother-in-law & 1 for me, husband, & son. Concerned about the "no guarantee" on connecting rooms. Is there a decent chance at getting it?.

    Hi Dana,

Disney always says that connecting rooms are not guaranteed, however, they do make every reasonable effort to accommodate guest requests. I've made connecting room requests several dozen times myself and only not had this request honored once.

In the interest of full disclosure, I will tell you that you family's situation would put you at the lower end of priority for connecting rooms. The first priority will go to groups with medical issues and families where children outnumber adults. Since your mother-in-law is an adult, presumably she would not come to any harm if she were sleeping a room alone. If there is some medical reason why this is not true, you should let the hotel know. But irregardless of the situation, the VAST majority of connecting room requests are honored. As a back-up, you could also put in a request that you have adjoining or nearby rooms if connecting rooms are not available.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
