If we get to Pop Century our fist day in Florida around 3:30, what is a good time to make our first Fast Pass time for at WDW? We will be taking Disney transportation. We would like to start at Pirates of the Caribbean.

    Hi, Linda!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm happy to help you plan out your first day on the Walt Disney World Resort property!

If you plan to arrive at Disney's Pop Century Resort around 3:30, you will probably be able to drop off your bags into your room. If your room isn't ready, you can ask the front desk to hold onto your bags while you hop on a bus to Magic Kingdom Park. The total time in the resort could be as little as 30 minutes and as much as an hour. I would just assume it will take an hour so that you don't feel rushed. That puts you at 4:30 in the afternoon.

I often budget an hour for a bus ride just in case you have to wait for the bus and the possibility of traffic. Once again, I choose a longer travel time so that I don't have to rush into the park. If you start your FastPass+ reservations around 5:30, you have absolutely no problem getting into Adventureland to enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean.

I hope those tips help! Let me know if I can assist you with any other planning questions!
