We will be at POFQ in January, and the kids are excited for the waterslide in the pool. 1st question, will it be warm enough for them to use the pool in Jan.? and 2nd how tall do you have be to go down the slide? Thanks!

    Hi Melissa!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

The weather in January can definitely be unpredictable.  It can be warm during the day some years and in other years it can be extremely cold.  Your best bet is to check on the weather a few days before going to Walt Disney World.

The slide at Port Orleans French Quarter is not very steep and thus ideal for young children.  There's no height restriction and in fact you can put a life vest on your child if you are concerned about his or her's swimming ability.

Enjoy planning your magical Disney vacation, and please write back with more questions!
