We have a 9:40 pm Obama reservation. We have plans to be in Animal Kingdom that day. Do we take the Polynesian resort bus to get there from AK? And then to get back to our All Star resort from the Polynesian what will be the best way to Go?

    Hi Kelli,

You are in for a delicious treat at 'Ohana! I always have trouble pacing myself through the  appetizers, noodles, vegetables and grilled meats to save room for the amazing bread pudding for dessert.

After a day at Animal Kingdom, I would definitely catch the bus to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for my dinner reservation. 'Ohana is on the second floor, facing Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom. After dinner, I would hop on the monorail, which stops just across the lobby from 'Ohana, for Magic Kingdom. You can walk from the Magic Kingdom monorail station to the All-Star resort bus stop in just a few minutes -- without entering the park.

If, by chance, your late dinner is on a night when Magic Kingdom closes relatively early and the monorail has ceased operation for the evening, you can hop on a bus at the Polynesian for Disney Springs. There you can transfer to a bus to your resort. All Walt Disney World resort buses arrive and depart from a single station in the Town Center area of Disney Springs, so it's easy to do.

You also could grab a taxi or ride-share service at the Polynesian if you are in a hurry to get back to your resort. My husband and I have done this a time or two when we've lingered late at the Polynesian. It's not free, but is fast and usually is less than $20.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kelli, and please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you make your plans. Enjoy!
