We have 5:20 pm Chef Mickey reservations our MK day. We wanted to go back to MK and watch the Electric Parade at 7 - how long should we plan for traveling - can we make it (via monorail?). Where's the best/easiest place to watch fireworks at 8?

Hi Julie! You will be able to walk from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort for your Chef Mickey's reservation. From the entrance/exit of Magic Kingdom to the Resort hotel should not take more than 15 minutes. If you prefer to use the Monorail, then I would recommend that you add some additional time to wait for the monorail to arrive. It should not take you more than 30 minutes to complete your monorail travel.

I just knew that the very best place to view the Fireworks at Magic Kingdom was directly in front of the Castle on Main Street, until our last two visits. We really enjoyed the view from Liberty Square on the walkway from Frontierland that is near the Liberty Square Riverboat. We also really enjoyed the view from Fantasyland near Pinocchio VIllage Haus.

I would say that the easiest place to view the Fireworks is near Town Hall on Main Street. It is easy to leave the park after the show, especially with tired little ones in tow. LOL!

    Have a Magical Vacation!
