Can you please tell me, if I purchase a ticket to Disneyland does that also include entry to Disney California Adventure Park? Or does that require a HOPPER pass? Thank you.

Howdy, Kelly! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question. I hope that you are enjoying planning your Disneyland Resort vacation!

If you would like to visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in the same day, then you will need a Park Hopper ticket. With a one park per day ticket, you can chose to either visit Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, but you can't go back and forth between the parks on the same day.

I always recommend that Guests purchase Park Hopper tickets because the parks are literally right across from each other and it takes mere moments to hop from one park to another. Park Hoppers also allow for maximum flexibility of your plans. You can start the day in Disneyland Park riding classic attractions and taking photos in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and then hop over to Disney California Adventure Park for dinner perhaps at Carthay Circle Restaurant and then enjoy Pixar Pier in the evening.

Furthermore, if you add Disney MaxPass to your Park Hopper ticket, you will be able to select FASTPASSES for either park no matter which park you are currently enjoying. This can provide many more options for your family than strictly staying in one park per day.

I hope your visit the Disneyland Resort is full of magic and memories!
