    Shelly from NJ Asked

Can you please tell me about how long it takes to get from AK entrance to Tusker House, also, MK to Be Our Guest? Thank you

    Hey, Shelly!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! If you are like me, you want to know exactly how long it takes to get you from one place to another when planning your theme park flow. In general, the furthest, direct-walking, no stop for pictures time between any two places is about 15-20 minutes in any theme park.

Depending on the members of your party it can take 8-12 minutes in both of your situations. If it's your first time at each theme park I would suggest budgeting about 15-20 minutes so you can take some great pictures and appreciate the level of details along the way.

In Magic Kingdom Park, you don't want to miss the beautiful tile mural story of Cinderella that lines the tunnel through the base of Cinderella Castle. It was designed by Disney Legend, Dorthea Redmond, and magically crafted by Hanns-Joachim Scharff and his wife and daughter with over a million pieces of glass. WOW!

At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, as you travel from the Oasis through Discovery Island and finally to Africa, home of Tusker House Restaurant, you have the opportunity to see some amazing wildlife and views. You could spot a babirusa, spoonbill, otter, porcupine and cotton-top tamarin. We love snapping a photo on the bridge into Africa of our family with Mount Everest in the background.

Disney Dad Tip: Download the My Disney Experience mobile app for easy access to reservations including FastPass+ service, maps and showtimes for all theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort.

Shelly, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
