Can you please tell me about the fireworks dessert party? It is appropriate for an 8 y.o., 4 y.o and 10 month old? Also, when can I book it for Oct 15th and what time is best to get a reservation? Thanks!!

    Hi Kathy,

The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Desert Party is awesome! In my opinion it is one of the best places to watch the fireworks inside the Magic Kingdom & its great for all ages.

It takes place on the Tomorrowland Terrace & begins an hour prior to whenever the fireworks are scheduled. You get a comfortable seat to watch the fireworks. You aren't among the sea of people in the MK so you don't have to fight for a good spot 1+ hours before the fireworks. None of the tables were right up next to the wall but once the fireworks began we were free to stand near the outer wall if we wanted. I also loved (especially with kids) that there is a restroom nearby.

The desserts are de-lish! You get to try as many as you want so eat an early dinner & come hungry. They do have some geared towards kids but I tried those too - yum! There was also a nice assortment of beverages (juices, coffee, milk). They break down the buffet when the fireworks begin so be sure to get all you want before settling in for an incredible view of Wishes. Tinker Bell flies right towards you & goes over your head for her landing.

I just checked on booking dates earlier this morning. A helpful Cast Member told me they are currently booking through Sept. They don't have the normal 180 day window to book unlike most other dining experiences.

The Cast Member also said that she wasn't sure when they will release future dates. They don't really have a set time of when dates will be available for booking. I would make myself a reminder & check once a week.  That way you'll have a better chance of getting a reservation as soon as the times are released.  Although I love making Advanced Dining Reservations online, this is one experience I've had more luck when calling 407-WDW-DINE.

It is certainly worth doing it at least once.  Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
