Hi Kindra,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you brought this delicious dining plan question to us! The
Dining Plans are one of my favorite topics to discuss.
To see the most current pricing for a dining plan, I suggest that you price your vacation online. Select your
Resort Hotel, vacation dates and then select theme park tickets. Once you price a package with the resort hotel and theme park tickets, you can add the dining plan. Simply check the price of the vacation package with just the resort and hotel then compare that to the price when you add a dining plan.
When I checked with a cast member in Dining, she gave me the current pricing (which is subject to change).
- The Deluxe Plan is $199/adult per night and $41/child per night
- The Disney Dining Plan is $72/adult per night and $27/child per night
- The Quick-Service Plan is $51/adult per night and $23/child per night
My family has used the Disney Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan. We prefer the Deluxe Dining Plan because it includes more meal entitlements, and as a result, provides more flexibility with meals. I create a chart for each day of our vacation with our dining reservations and the number of meal credits we will use each day included on the chart. Doing so helps me be sure that I am not making more dining reservations that we need given our meal credits. Remember that dining credits are calculated based on nights of your visit so, if you are staying five nights and six days on the Disney Dining Plan, you will receive 10 meal credits (5 table-service and 5 quick-service) per person.
My family seriously considers food an experience at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a magical time!
