Hi Moms, can you please tell me about the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare for daughters 8 and 5. We already made resv at Cinderella's Royal Table and Chef Mickey. Is this too much character dining? Txs, you all are such a help!

    Hi Kathleen!

Even if I'm not staying at the resort, I always try to find an excuse to visit the immaculate Grand Floridian resort :-)! With its Victorian style architecture, I like to bring my daughter here to eat, as it reminds her of a princess kingdom.

We enjoyed the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast when we visited last year. While eating, you'll get treated to Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, Tigger, Pooh, and Mary Poppins as they come to your table (had to explain Mary Poppins to my 6-year daughter, who hasn't seen the movie). The Mad Hatter of course is super silly, and should make your girls laugh.

The breakfast is an all-you-can-eat buffet, with traditional American breakfast items. They do serve the Mickey waffles here, which my daughter loves. Some other items are bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit, muffins, etc.

They will take a picture of you and your family right before entering to eat, but the photo isn't included in the meal price.

Whether it's too much depends on your stay and itinerary. For a 5 day trip, our family will probably do about 4 character meals. We'll do 2 character meals in one day, only if one of the meals is a "must do" (like Chef Mickey's). But 3 character meals in a day is too much, and if you plan too many of them, you'll find yourself nearing the end of the trip just wanting to be left alone when you eat (this is from personal experience :-) If you're only staying a couple days than you'll certainly want to get as much in as possible, and planning a number of character meals would be understandable. Your 3 selections are great selections, by the way...

May you and your princesses have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time!
