Please provide some input on the location of the Beach Club? Can you get around easily between parks. I'm not sure if I'm going to like taking the bus to MK. Is it easy to do? We'll also be going to other parks. It's between the WL and BC please help.

    Hi Kristen,

You really can't go wrong with either the Beach Club or the Wilderness Lodge, they are both incredible Resorts.

The thing to keep in mind when choosing a Resort, is that unless you have a rental car, you are going to have to ride a bus to at least a couple of the Disney Parks. For example, while the monorail Resorts are very close to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, you have to ride a bus to the Animal Kingdom Park, Hollywood Studios and the Water Parks.

The Beach Club Resort is located in one of my favorite parts of Disney. The Crescent Lake area is absolutely beautiful. You'll be walking distance to the International Gateway, which is the back entrance to Epcot. In addition, you are a leisurely ferry boat ride away from Hollywood Studios. The Boardwalk is right on the other side of the lake (a 5 minute stroll), and the swimming pool is arguably the best on Disney property. "Storm-a-long Bay" has a sand bottom, a lazy river, ship-wreck slide, whirling waters and more. My kids love, love, love this Resort.

The Wilderness Lodge is simply stunning. It is just a boat ride from the Magic Kingdom. However, the fastest way to get to the other 3 main Parks from there is on a bus. We never rent a car, and have always relied on Disney transportation from all Resorts.

Rest assured that you'll be thrilled with either choice! Besides, you'll have an excuse to plan a return trip soon so you can try out the other location. ;)
