Please provide me with more information about pin trading, what kinds of pins, where do I purchase them, etc. Thanks

Anywhere you find Disney Cast members you will find pin traders.  Some people trade with complete strangers in the park, but for the most part the trading is done between the Cast members and the pin traders themselves.  The Disney Cast members can't turn a guest down to request a trade, unless they are only to trade with children, then there pins will be on a green felt background.  The trick is if your a serious pin trader, most will head to some of the stores, and request the manager, as they usually have the more interesting pins, though not always.  The Disney Cast members also have pins that are not sold in any store.  You can ask them if they have any, and they will tell you.  You can purchase pins at most stores inside the parks, in each of the hotels they have lanyards, with a starter set of pins, or you can purchase your own lanyard, and purchase a few pins to add to it to trade. Some people may wear a baseball hat, and put their pins on it.

There are monthly meetings for guests of all ages are invited to trade at Mickey's Pin Trading Night.  It's free, its open to all Guests and is held at Disney's Contemporary Resort-Convention Center.  The next three trading nights are:

    Friday, January 25, 2008
    - 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. - Disney's Contemporary Resort-Conference Center

    Friday, February 15, 2008 - 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.-Disney's Contemporary Resort-Conference Center

    Friday, March 14, 2008 - 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.-Disney's Contemporary Resort-Conference Center

    Happy trading!!! Heather M.
