Please help! We have a 4yo and twin 2yo girls from London UK +grandparents. We have absolutely no idea where to start with planning or best resort to stay for kids this age. Nothing too busy or frantic. Prefer to see less but really get into the magic!

Hi Hermione! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am glad that you have come to us for help with planning your vacation! Between all of the 2019 Panelists, we have taken over 1,500 Disney vacations and that is a lot of experience. We love nothing more than to pass on the information that we have learned over the years!

When it comes to Disney Resort hotels, I suggest looking into the Deluxe and Moderate categories since you are wanting to keep it low-key. In my opinion, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the most relaxing of the Disney Resort hotels and it has the amazing Disney touch of watching the animals roam the Savanna. Disney's Wilderness Lodge is also a peaceful favorite and it has the huge perk of being a short boat ride away from Magic Kingdom Park. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is in the Moderate category and is oozing with Southern charm! This resort is connected to Disney Springs by boat and the water that runs through the grounds of this Disney Resort hotel adds to its beauty.

I suggest looking at pictures of the different Disney Resort hotels online and price them all out for your vacation dates to see what will work best for your family. Once you have that in place, you can decide how many days of theme park tickets you will need, as well as if a Disney Dining Plan is right for you.

I hope this helps get you started with planning, Hermione! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
