Please give me your opinion on which All Star resort is the best? My first choice is POP but I need a second and third choice.Have any had recent renovations? Also I've never purchased the resort mugs before, how large are they? Jane

    Disney's All-Star Resorts:

I personally like to stay at the All-Star Sports Resort - Here's the upside first this for me weighs out the others out of convenience.  You also want to be in the 'preferred room' I am not one that usually cares, but here goes.  The All-Star Sports Resort is the first bus stop on way out and on the way home from the parks, that means its usually empty when you board, and you are the first off, when you are tired at the end of the day.  The 'preferred room' comes into play like building 10, its close to the bus stop its in between both pools, and close to the food court.  The downside, and this is where the 'preferred room' comes in a lot of school trips stay at the All-Star Sports, but they are usually not place in the 'preferred buildings'.

All-Star Music - has a family suite that sleeps 5 and its great, has all you need as a family.  It's really hard to get and really if you want the suite, call, don't try the internet, it won't find it.  so definitely call.

All-Star Movies - Its really neat to walk through and see the 101 Dalmatians, and all the different movie scenes.  I haven't stayed there, but its at the end of the bus run, there never seems to be any seats available by the time we get there, and then it seems like its a really long way home.

We have the mugs from All-Star Sports, and the one there held exactly 16 ounces.  I just filled my cup up, with a measuring cup, to be sure, I thought it was less, but it holds 16 ounces.  We never buy 7, in fact we buy only 2.  We have one for diet drinks and the other for regular drinks.  We are family, so we share, and it makes it more manageable.  I had a hard time justifying spending 11.99 times 7, but I could do it if it were only 2 cups.

My first choice is Pop Century as well, because it has its own bus.  Enjoy!! Heather M.
