Please explain the difference between "counter service" and "quick service dining plan", if any. I'm trying to manage dining needs for the finicky 8 year old in our party. There's got to be more than chicken nuggets and pizza for her

    Hi David!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

There are different Disney Dining Plans available.  It sounds as if you are referring to the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan, and the Disney Dining Plan.  There are a wide range of restaurants and foods available on both plans, and I'm sure you will find several food choices that will be suitable for your eight-year-old.  Here is some more information about all the Disney Dining Plans.

Once you have seen which restaurants are included on each plan, you can refer to the menus on another website www.allears.net, which regularly updates the menu listings for Walt Disney World Resort.

If you have any further questions about the Dining Plans please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help.
