Please could you clarify how ME works for international flights? Do you still have to pick up your luggage from the first bag collection area after passport control & then ME pick it up from the 2nd one or do you just leave it all up to the ME guys? T

    Hi Rachel,

Sorry for not answering your question earlier but I've just returned from a trip to WDW. I used Disney's Magical Express after an International flight, so your question couldn't have come at a better time :-)

Magical Express changed for International guests a while back and we no longer get sent the information booklet or the bag tags. This means we need to collect all our own luggage from both luggage carousels (personally though I always skip the second carousel preferring to take my case up the escalator and onto the mini monorail so I don't need to wait again) and take them with you to the ME desk. Once at the ME desk they will print off all the necessary papers for you and if you wish they will then take your luggage from you and deliver it to your resort. I have never used the luggage service since the changes as it really is no hassle to put your luggage onto the bus, plus if your family are anything like mine we're always asleep within a few hours of reaching our resort so don't want to wait up for the luggage to be delivered!

Even though you don't get sent any documents you still need to pre-book the service and you can see details on how to do this by clicking HERE.

I hope that helps and you have a great holiday,

    Jo
