We have plans to bring the whole family to Disney World in Dec.3-10 of 2011. If we are in the Disney part of the parks at night will we be able to view the lighting of the Castle or is it only done during the Mickeys Very Merry Xmas??

    Hi Jean,

The Castle Dream Lights Ceremony is spectacular and you are in luck as this is an event for all to enjoy and not just for the guests attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP).  This event will be held nightly during your travel dates to WDW and to see this amazing transformation from castle to icy palace, you just need to be at the Magic Kingdom as the sun sets (my favorite place to stand and watch this is directly in front of the stage at Cinderella's castle so you can see the characters deliver this special show up close). Please have a look at the Times Guide when you enter the Park for an exact time for this and other shows and events.  Have a wonderful trip!

    Best wishes,
