Hi. We are planning to come to Disney World for Labor Day weekend 2012. We have a child in attendance and want him to get the full Disney experience from a child's perspective. Therefore would Planet Hollywood be more suitable than House of Blues?

    Hi Tameka!

My husband is a huge House of Blues fan and I love Planet Hollywood.  While neither of them are really Disneyish, in my opinion is Planet Hollywood is more suitable for kids.  You can see all of the movie memorabilia that is around the restaurant as well as watch some clips from the most popular movies of all time on the HUGE screen inside.  The atmosphere is fun, loud and lively that I'm sure any kid would love.

House of Blues is fun and loud too, but there is not much to see unless there is live music going on during your dining experience.

If you want to get the FULL Disney experience, I highly suggest character dining around Walt Disney World.  Chef Mickey's is my favorite if you want to see the classic characters like Mickey and Goofy.

Advance reservations are recommended for all dining around Disney by calling (407) WDW-DINE or online.

    Have a magical day!
