Planning 15 yr anniv trip for June 2014 with our two boys (8,6). Trying to decide btw POR (pref) or WL. Can you give pros/cons? 1st time on property. We've noticed POR has fishing, more pools, pirate cruises. WL is close to MK and rooms look bigger. Thanks

How wonderful Heather that you and your partner will celebrate your 15th Anniversary along with your young boys at the happiest place on earth; Walt Disney World!
You must be so excited about staying in a Disney Resort for the first time and I'm glad to be able to offer my thoughts on lodging at both the deluxe Disney's Wilderness Lodge and the moderate Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.
Wilderness Lodge has the most breathtaking lobby dominated by a romantic log fuelled fire, plus don't forget to say 'hello' to Humphrey Bear and perhaps rub his nose for luck! For some aquatic fun there are two pools complete with a rocky outcrop where Fire Rock Geyser erupts with every daytime hour!  With the Magic Kingdom being only a short boat ride away this could be your perfect choice of Resort.
Port Orleans - Riverside is full of Southern rural romance and charm; you'll find it dotted with winding pathways and beautiful lush gardens to explore. To keep your boys entertained there are children's playgrounds beside each of the six swimming pools. You can catch a convenient water taxi to the close by Downtown Disney for an extra fun filled time!
Both Resorts have great dining options with Wilderness Lodge having three restaurants and Port Orleans - Riverside having just two, plus a pizza delivery service. I have to add in here, if you eat at Whispering Canyon be sure to ask for ketchup.
Believe me when I say that you won't be disappointed by either Resort!
Let me wish you both a Happy Anniversary at Walt Disney World.
