Planning a 2 week trip in May 09 with DH and DDs (5&3). We are going to try and avoid the parks on weekends to avoid crowds, trying to decide on how many days to get on my park hopper ticktets. Do you think 7 will be enough, too much? Thanks, love u

Hi, Jennifer!  You are asking a panel of certified Disney fanatics if 7 days is enough time, and we would probably all tell you it's NEVER enough time!!  But really, I think it's probably perfect, especially if you want to take a couple of days outside of the parks.

My younger daughters, ages 7 and 3, take a little longer to get through the theme parks, because there really is so much for them to see and do.  If time allows, I like to give them two days at the Magic Kingdom, two days at EPCOT, and one day each at Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Then, if there is time left on our vacation, we like to end with an extra day at the Magic Kingdom.  It helps us not to feel rushes, and telling the girls we're coming back helps ease the disappointment of leaving at the end of the day.

Just one quick note about skipping the weekends - you may find that it's not as terribly busy on the weekends as you might think.  Many people travel in and out over the weekend, so you might find the crowd level manageable.  If your two weeks includes Memorial Day weekend, that weekend is probably going to be more crowded.
