We are planning a week stay in September for our daughters 3rd birthday. It will be our first time at Disney. we plan on doing 2 day park tickets. So should we stay on a Disney resort or close to Disney? We also have no car.

Hi Shirly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am glad to hear you are planning a Disney vacation for your family. I am sure it is going to be an amazing experience for all of you.
I encourage you to stay at a Disney Resort Hotel. Properties are great with a lot to do and see. Kids love them, especially because they are full of magic all the time. It will be a pleasant surprise for your family. Besides, you will have great benefits, such as complimentary airport transportation, Extra Magic Hours, complimentary transportation to theme parks, and MagicBands.
You will also be able to reserve your FastPass+ up to 60 days in advance of your visit, which is a very good deal when you are traveling with small kids. FastPass+ service includes select Character Greetings, shows, parades and fireworks.
Hope this information helps your planning. Come back again if you have more questions. It is a pleasure to help.
    Have a magical day!
