Planning a WDW vacation for either early March or mid April 2012. Wanting to know the better time to come. Have a 6 yr old and a 3 yr old so swimming is a must and less crowds would be nice. Thanks!

    Hi Brittany,

Your question is a bit tricky because you are trying to find a time that meets two objectives:  weather warm enough for swimming and low park attendance.  Your chances of warm weather for swimming in Orlando are definitely better in mid-April than in early March.  We regularly visit in March and, even though resort pools are heated, we find that it is often too chilly for us to swim.  (Perhaps your daughters do not mind cooler swimming temperatures like we do).  However, you want to avoid the week before and after Easter (April 8, 2012) if low park attendance is important to you.  If you can go after April 15, 2012 you will likely experience the best of both worlds (warmer weather and lower park attendance).

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your planning.
