Planning our WDW trip in Sept 2014, Staying on property. 4 adults - 4 kids that are 9 and under. Can we purchase 2 adult dining plans for the 2 kids even though they are under 10? The dining plan restaurant menus seem incredibly limited for kids.

Hi, Stacie!  Unfortunately, you are not able to purchase an adult dining plan for children under the age of 10.  What you are able to do, however, is purchase things outside of your dining plan credits.  What I have done in the past when on the dining plan is had my kids order something from the children's menu, then maybe choose an appetizer from the full menu.

Another option, especially at EPCOT, is to order the kids meal, but then use the snack credit for something a bit more interesting, like an egg roll.  Instead of using your snack credits for a Mickey Ice Cream bar, you can opt for something that rounds out the kids' meals a bit better.

Alternatively, you can have the kids' meals boxed up to take back to the resort with you for a bedtime snack, and just order the kids whatever they want from the full menu at meal time.

I hope you find a solution that works for your family!
