We are planning our 1st WDW trip for3/12-16, but only at the park for 2-3, days. I want to see/do it all (6yo boy) but know that is not possible. I can't find any good itineraries for 2 days. Can you recommend what to do? And which park to visit day 3?

    Hi Courtenay,

How exciting to be planning your first trip to Walt Disney World. Good news: you and your 6 year old can get your fill from just 3 days in the parks! Here's what my family would do if we wanted to see as much as possible in 3 days time:

    • Visit Magic Kingdom on your full day. It just doesn't' feel like a Walt Disney Vacation until you see Cinderella Castle. If your kiddo is tall enough, try to "conquer the Mountains:" Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Railroad Mountain and Space Mountain. These 3 rides are very popular, so you will want to ride them as early as possible, or your FastPass selections for them on your My Disney Experience. Other fun attractions are Pirates of the Caribbean, It's a Small World, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
    • Split your 2nd day between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. While these both deserve a full day, you can get your fill of both with a half day. Visit Hollywood Studios first and hop onto Toy Story Midway Mania. Sign your little one up for Jedi Academy and have a bite to eat at Hollywood and Vine where he'll be able to meet Jake and The Neverland Pirates. At Epcot, he'll love The Seas with Nemo & Friends and Turtle Talk with Crush. Finish the day with Illuminations - Reflections of Earth.
    • Visit Disney's Animal Kingdom on your last day. The animals are the most active during the morning, so plan to visit them first thing. Hit up Tusker House for lunch and have fun on Kali River Rapids. After the park closes, hop back to Magic Kingdom and end the day watching Wishes nighttime spectacular. Every Disney vacation should end with Wishes.

I hope this answered your question, Courtenay. If you have any more questions before your vacation, please feel free to ask me at any time.
